Due to NVIDIA’s recent efforts to support Wayland on Linux through integrated GBM API support, I thought I would suggest a quality of life improvement that would help NVIDIA remain competitive in the gaming environment.
Gamescope, an embedded session for programs, requires VK_EXT_image_drm_format_modifier in order for Gamescope to operate properly. This would allow NVIDIA’s new image scaling technology to be implemented in the future, rivaling the competition’s scaling methods!
