Wayland: screen tearing

Today I tested KDE wayland session with 495.44 drivers:
Operating System: Fedora Linux 35
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.15.6-200.fc35.x86_64 (64-bit)
Mesa: 21.3.1-2.fc35

I have hybrid graphics laptop (Intel UHD Comet lake + RTX 3060) running in render offload mode. Almost everything I tried runs fine, but I noticed that many applications (both opengl and vulkan) suffer from screen tearing. This is especially apparent when showing video. Under X11 no tearing observed. I also tried gnome wayland session with the same result. I’m not sure this is nvidia problem, since tearing happens whichever GPU I select.

I’m no expert whatsoever, but I experienced the same on Ubuntu 22.10 on Wayland after upgrading from 22.04. I think I improved the issue last night by adding nvidia-drm.modeset=1 acpi_osi= to /etc/default/grub as per:

Hope it helps!
