Hi NVIDIA DLI Community,
I’m currently planning my learning path toward the NVIDIA Certified Associate — Generative AI LLMs (NCA-GENL) certification and came across something that’s giving me pause.
Several courses in the recommended learning path dli-learning-journey-2009000-r5-web.pdf — including ‘Getting Started with Deep Learning’, ‘Fundamentals of Deep Learning’, ‘Building Transformer-Based NLP Applications’, and ‘Building LLM Applications with Prompt Engineering’ — all show a retirement notice with last enrollment date of July 7 and access ending December 31.
I have a few questions I’d love community input on:
- Why are these courses being retired? Is the content outdated, or is NVIDIA replacing them with updated versions?
- If they’re being replaced, what are the new recommended courses for the NCA-GENL path?
- Is it still worth enrolling before July 7 at $90 each, or should I wait for the replacement courses?
- Will these retirements affect the NCA-GENL exam blueprint, or does the current exam still map to these courses?
I’m a Robotics & XR engineer with a CS background trying to bridge into AI/ML, so this certification is an important step for me. Would really appreciate advice from anyone who has been through this path or has insight from the NVIDIA side.
Thanks in advance!
