Xid Error 31 and BOINC on 310.19

I am receiving this error in my logs with 310.19 on Ubuntu 12.04:

[79444.482110] NVRM: Xid (0000:02:00): 31, Ch 00000005, engmask 00000101, intr 10000000

I have a suspicion it is being caused by BOINC, which is running primegrid on three GPU’s, all GTX480’s. I say this because whenever I try to run a genefer world record work unit, the task will report a computational error within a few minutes and move on to then next task. Only the GTX480 on PCI bus ID 2:00 ever reports Xid errors. The 480’s on 3:00 and 4:00 never appear to report errors in the kern.log. I believe it is BOINC causing this issue as these errors are appearing while the computer is not in use. I sometimes run these cards in SLI but have not had time to enable it and see how that affects the Xid messages. i.e. See if since all cards are used to drive the display will all three begin to output this error? Thanks Nvidia dev team keep up the great work!

This error could be caused by a number of things, but a likely one would be a BOINC kernel accessing memory out of bounds (similar to a segmentation fault when a CPU processes accesses memory out of bounds).
