Previously, I had a driver+cuda installation working with my GeForce GTX 1080 on Debian 12. It stopped working one day after my desktop suddenly powered off instantly. I had to uninstall all drivers and cuda to get it working again. After the following reinstallation steps, I am about at the same spot. I am unable to have Xorg start the login screen. Instead, I get the white screen: “Oh no! Something went wrong”. There seems to not be any noticeable issues in my Xorg.0.log or Xorg.1.log files.
