I’m using a GeForce GT710 2 GB and GT730 2 GB on Windows 10 64-bit (Control Panel v8.1.958.0), and I need a custom display mode of 640×512 at 50 Hz with 16-bit color. On Windows 7 (with older NVIDIA drivers) this worked fine, but on Windows 10 (and 11) the Control Panel only lets me choose 32 bpp—there’s no 16 bpp option.
Could you please let me know:
Is it possible to set 640×512 @ 50 Hz, 16 bpp on Windows 10/11 with these cards?
If so, what steps should I follow (driver settings, registry tweak, or Control Panel option)?
