Our customers use Xavier NX module and are designing the carrier board by themselves.
They only use 100M Ethernet, not Gigabit Ethernet. When designing the circuit schematic diagram, only MDI0_P, MDI0_N, MDI1_P, MDI1_N are connected, and MDI2 and MDI3 are not connected.
I checked the Realtek RTL8211 FDI chip, which supports Fast Ethernet working mode.
In theory, it is correct to only use 100M Ethernet and only connect MDI0 and MDI1.
Is this design reasonable? Is there a problem? thanks
