Jetson Xavier NX Ethernet Magnetics

Hi,

I am currently designing a carrier board for the Xavier NX, where the Ethernet needs to be connected to an Ethernet-Switch (Marvell 88E6352). Due to the lack of space in my design I am not able to use magnetics.

Does the NX support the usage of 100nF capacitors in series instead of magnetics? Or is there a better way to solve this Problem?

I’m afraid not. Magnetics design is the only one we suggested/validated. Please follow the design guide.
