We are in doubt about the kms-modifiers Gnome’s feature. If it still necessary to be enabled for NVIDIA driver for Xwayland acceleration and if will be in the next 590 series. Is that part of the documentation updated in the drivers? It is stated since driver 470.42.01 Chapter 38. OpenGL and Vulkan on Xwayland and still in driver 580.105.08 Chapter 40. OpenGL, Vulkan and VDPAU on Xwayland .
Pointed out by the Refine app dev that in Mutter’s configuration it looks like is automatic now 61-mutter.rules, but not sure.
