Can you tell me if the IGX Thor T5000 is AEC and SIL qualified? I am certain that the Jetson Thor T5000 is not AEC or SIL qualified but not certain about IGX Thor T5000. Can you confirm this please?
AEC: IGX Thor T5000 is qualified for the industrial temperature range (-40°C to +85°C), not the automotive temperature range that AEC-Q100 requires. So it is not AEC-Q100 qualified.
SIL: Unlike Jetson Thor, IGX Thor T5000 includes a Functional Safety Island (FSI). Achieving a SIL rating for the end system requires the customer’s own system-level safety assessment built on top of the FSI.
In short: IGX T5000 is not AEC qualified and has no module-level SIL rating, but the FSI provides the safety foundation for SIL qualification.
