Functional safety island in jetson thor T5000 module

Hi,
Is there Functional safety island (FSI) in Jetson Thor T5000 module ? I am not able to find any related sections in datasheet or design guide but there are few FSI pins in CAN section of design guide. Could you please clarify the same ?

Jetson Thor does not support FSI.

IGX Thor supports FSI.

As i am new to Nvidia platform, i am not exactly sure of the difference between IGX and AGX. Could you please clarify ?

IGX is intended for industrial or medical-grade applications requiring functional safety and/or higher reliability. You can read more about IGX here: NVIDIA IGX Platform

If you go to that URL you’ll see some pictures. The gist is that the IGX is larger and has some support hardware around the Jetson. I suspect there is some ARM Cortex-R in this alternative larger carrier board (which would more or less have its own o/s for hard realtime). This is quite a step-up over the Thor by itself if you are interested in timing and functional safety. I kind of drool over what could be done when mixing that combination, but the cost would also be significantly higher.
