AES hardware encrypt support on TX1 ?

Hello Gentlemen,

Since we want to use the OpenSSL with AES encryption on TX1 (L4T 24.2.1),
could we know TX1 support AES hardware encryption or not?
If TX1 is support currently, could you please provide the information for enable this IP?
Thank you very much.

Best Regards,
Walker

WalkerHsiao,
Yes Tegra chip such as TX1 supports AES encryption in the hardware.

http://developer.download.nvidia.com/assets/embedded/secure/jetson/TX1/docs/JetsonTX1_Module_DataSheet_DS07224010v1.1.pdf?autho=1488903917_3018d4cbd68d7546ad097178e96e502b&file=JetsonTX1_Module_DataSheet_DS07224010v1.1.pdf

The ‘security’ area summarizes the security features inside the TX1.
We are working on secure boot package and documentation. What is your use case to use AES encryption with OpenSSL?

Hi WalkerHsiao,

What is your use case to use AES encryption with OpenSSL?
Any further information can be shared?

Thanks

Hi chijen,

Can you let me know how can I use this hardware? Any demo application for the same?
Can you also provide information on the data rates supported (throughput) by this hardware?

I am looking for using this for secure media streaming.
