Alternative to Citrix/VMware for running virtual Linux desktops with Nvidia's Tesla M60

This was recently published on NoMachine’s website. Seems to be a viable option for running complex 3D applications. The whitepaper is claiming they were able to run 60 virtual Linux desktops on an Intel Xeon server with an Nvidia Tesla M60 card installed. Does anyone have experience to share?

I’ve never heard of them, does make for an interesting read though.

It may be viable, but I highly doubt configured like that.

Also never heard of them. As viable alternative you could have a look at NICE DCV. Nice is running very well for Linux workloads and is also supporting H.264 with NVENC for 8Q and passthrough profiles.

You can use PCoIP with Teradici Cloud Access Software HP Anyware = ZCentral Remote Boost + Teradici CAS. It supports Linux and Windows.
