Any difference between orin module and develop kit?

I want to make sure if any difference between single orin module and module on the develop kit?It seems hardware don’t have any differece?

Based upon our experience so far with the dev kit it would be wise not attempt your own carrier until you have full control of the dev board. If you don’t need to connect anything to the header you are fine.

So far it has been a total waste of time, glad we bought the dev kit first before dropping a huge pile of money in having a carrier board made for us. Then find out after the fact we cannot configure the device tree.

The module on devkit is with sdcard slot. The production does not have sdcard slot.

Also, there are lots of kinds of Orin Nano module, so you might need to clarify which “single orin module” you want to ask here.
Actually they are all p3767 SOM but different sku (Orin NX/Nano).

OK I got it.So actually I want to know that if orin nano super also support module without sdcard slot?I try to flash Jetpack 6.1(rev 1)with orin module and my board, which works well with other Jetpack, but it seems that nothing change as orin super, maybe that’s the problem of device tree?

How did you flash your device?

SDKmanager and select the Jetpack 6.1(rev 1)

Hi,
We now support Orin Nano super mode on Orin Nano module with SD card slot(sku5). If your module is sku5, please pick rev1 to flash the device through SDKManager.

So module without SD card slot cannot support super mode, right?

And by the way,I want to make sure if next jetpack release can support module without SD card slot?

Hi,

This is sku3 and we will support it in next Jetpack release.

I notice that jetpack6.1.1 will be release in Jan 25,right? Is that the next release?

Hi,
Next release is Jetpack 6.2. It is planned for 2025 Jan.

OK thanks! Waiting for next release!
