I asked a couple of weeks ago why there is an availability problem with the Jetson Orin Nano super dev. All official resellers that sell for 245 are out of stock for the next 3 months, and that goal post does not shift, It remains 3 months when ever I check. Other third party sellers that do sell the board ask triple the price. Last response from the mediator was that they would look into the mater and closed the post. I was wondering if there is any update? when and where can I get this board for 245?
Sorry for bring this trouble, I will forward it to internal team to see if they can improve the manufacturing to catch the order for shippment ASAP.
Is there a way to order directly instead of the resellers?
Same problem here… Nvidia official resellers should limit the number of unit per customer if they cant meet the demand, now we get the classic nvidia scalper pricing we see every time something new is released…
Fully agree. Raspberry pi got it sorted out with the 1 per customer setup. Illegal reselling with a profit just keeps it out of the hands of normal customers.
Please find a structural solution for this.
Thanks very much for bringing this up, it is so disappointing when someone has everything for the project and the main computer is nowhere to be found at an affordable price for individuals. only big businesses are buying these boards in bulk leaving the common man to struggle through the entire development process. Nvidia should come up with a solution to fight this because I believe those businesses once started from an idea in some garage or just anywhere, without the right infrastructure nothing is going to work out here unless intervened.
I can’t find even a single Orin nano in Ireland at the moment or anywhere around even the UK. The only ones available for going for 4times the MSRP and that’s totally unfair
