Best way of referencing paths

Hi!

I’m preparing a USD that is meant to be opened directly, referenced, and added as a payload.
The problem comes when the path to Prims and so on differs when bringing the USD. Is there any way I can make my paths/prim paths always relative to the Reference/Payload/USD or however else I include it?

Hello!

yes - By default - If your current USD stage is already saved in a folder, the reference manager will try to resolve a relative path. If the current USD is not saved it won’t be able to find a relative path, but I believe it will do so at the time you save your stage to a file.
