Black screen, ERROR: might be timeout in USB write

I was flashing the system, and noticed that partition configuration was incorrect, so I cntl-break’d it. When I tried doing it again, I started getting “ERROR: might be timeout in USB write”. Since then, I’ve tried unplugging and replugging in the power, the usb cables, unplugging and waiting 10 mins, then replugging. Here is the current board status

1. No output on the monitor. Pressing ‘Esc’ or Cntrl-shift-e has no effect.

2. The minicom is blank

3. Every step of flashing reports “ERROR: might be timeout in USB write”

4. “lsusb” is showing:

Bus 005 Device 017: ID 0955:7023 NVIDIA Corp. APX

Bus 003 Device 011: ID 0955:7045 NVIDIA Corp. Tegra On-Platform Operator

Please advise.

Hi,

Some questions to confirm:

  • What is your AGX Orin target storage device? (eMMC/NVMe/Sd card/USB)

Take eMMC for example.
Please run below commands and provide the serial console log.

$ sudo ./flash.sh jetson-agx-orin-devkit internal

Well, thankfully when I got into the office this morning, the errors seemed to have cleared up. Not sure why, but I’m able to talk to the board and flash it again. Sorry for the false alarm
