"borrow failed: NotFoundError(product feature map not found for product UNKNOWN)" error since a few days

dears,

since a few days we are starting to see this error message in our DLS license server: “borrow failed: NotFoundError(product feature map not found for product UNKNOWN)”

After checking our change logs and comparing them with the day this started occurring it seems this was our only relevant change inside the golden image:

-Updated Nvidia RTX Desktop Manager from 204.26 to 204.61
-Updated Nvidia Graphics Driver from 537.70 to 551.61 (in accordance with the recent host drivers update) What's New :: NVIDIA Virtual GPU Software Documentation

In the meantime I have tried migrating the DLS server from 2.1.0 to 3.2.0 as well as generating a new client token and importing that into the golden image but I keep seeing this error in the event viewer.

Any ideas anyone ? Thanks in advance

this indicates that you may run an “old” VM with driver version older than vGPU 13.x.
Otherwise I would recommend to create a support ticket to get it analyzed to see exactly what is going on.

Hi Simon,

thanks for your answer. In my case it seems to be quite the opposite then as I’m running the newest of the newest version. You can see the version of the gpu guest driver I listed in my original post here. This is 17.x series
