BUG REPORT: nvidia-jetpack 6.2.1 .xsessionrc generated by not dash-compatible; results in crash loops when run without bash

I tried setting up xrdp with my Jetson Orin Nano and ran into crash loops as described in Bug #2160575 “/etc/X11/Xsession does not start with /bin/sh: con...” : Bugs : xorg package : Ubuntu . Changing the shebang from /bin/sh to /bin/bash fixed the issue (but I have no idea if/when the .xsessionrc might be regenerated).

Hi,
xrdp is not enabled in default Jetpack release. A user has shared the steps in
Jetson / Ubuntu XRDP Setup Runbook

Please take a looks and give it a try. Also we would suggest use Jetpack 6.2.2 r36.5 or 7.2 r39.2 since the later releases include critical PSIRT fixes:
JetPack releases with Security Fixes: CVE-2025-33182 & CVE-2025-33177

Thanks for the note – I upgraded to JetPack 7.2 r39.2.
