Bypass QSPI-NOR

Hello! I’m working on designing a system that will use the Orin NX in high-reliability applications, and we are interested in using ruggedized storage with the module. However, we are hoping to store all the necessary boot/software packages on our external storage, rather than relying on the QSPI-NOR as part of the boot process. We are worried that if the QSPI fails, the entire system will not be able to operate.

Is there a way to circumvent the QSPI and have the module/SoC read directly from external storage? I’m new to working with these modules, so if there is something I may be misunderstanding, please let me know, and apologies in advance!

It is not possible.
