Can I hope for RTD3 power management on my Kepler (GTX 880M) in the future ?

Dear forum readers,

I noticed PCI-e RTD3 power management has recently been included in the driver. However, it is advertised as working on Turing GPUs and later.

I know Kepler is going quite old, but I would appreciate being able to run applications on my dGPU on demand, while having it power off when it’s not used.

Is there any hope ?
