Can We Use SMB Direct, Between Two Servers Without Switch ?

Hello All,

I want to learn if we will use “ConnectX-4 LX” model card on the HP Servers ( OEM Card Model 817753-B21 ) it can be connect between servers without switch or require switch ? ( we use “ConnectX-4 LX” for SMB Direct on S2D )

if applicable without switch!.. Can i use 25Gbps bandwidth with SFP+ between two cards ?

You must have a DCBX switch that support loseless ethernet network.
