I’ve tried all the nmcli and ethtool settings but still can’t get wake on lan to work.
There is usually a bios setting that allows this but I don’t see on in the AMI bios for the Spark.
So how do I get wake on lan to work on my Spark?
thanks.

Please confirm which device port you are using: CX7 interfaces or the standard NIC? Please share ethtool output.
standard nic
i think there is a bios setting to change but i can’t find it. That’s what got this working on my other ubuntu boxes.
i’ve tried magic already with nmcli but nada
current setting
andrew@spark-8a73:~$ sudo ethtool enP7s7 |grep Wake

confirmed Spark does not support wake-on-lan
I left the default bios power behavior at “auto boot” and used a phone controllable smart plug.
so i shutdown box normally, then power off smart plug.
later power on smart plug and it boots right up.
next best thing to wake on lan.
