Can't open nvidia settings

I am unable to open nvidia settings, either via nvidia-settings or by Nvidia Server Settings. Attached is the bug report generated via nvidia-bug-report.sh.
nvidia-bug-report.log.gz (392.3 KB)

Logs look fine, driver running, appliactions are using the nvidia gpu. What happens when you open nvidia-settings?

Nothing. I get the error

(nvidia-settings:39868): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: 11:01:04.573: g_object_unref: assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

which previous threads (minus the seg fault) stated was standard.

dmesg:

[ 445.494551] nvidia-settings[7361]: segfault at 0 ip 0000000000000000 sp 00007ffd277dec98 error 14 in nvidia-settings[55bbd57a0000+a000]
[ 445.494557] Code: Unable to access opcode bytes at RIP 0xffffffffffffffd6.

doesn’t really help. Maybe a corrupt save? Please delete ~/.nvidia-settings-rc

That file doesn’t seem to exist.
