Hi,
We are an integration company working with customers who use NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab for robotics and Physical AI development.
We are currently getting requests from customers who need help with things such as:
- Installing and configuring Isaac Sim / Isaac Lab
- Setting up the environment and dependencies
- Connecting Isaac Sim to the customer’s existing robotics software and hardware
- Setting up their own cloud or on-premise infrastructure
- Creating and configuring simulation environments
- Troubleshooting and ongoing technical support
- Helping their engineering teams get their NVIDIAs robotics stack workflows running
We see it a significant potential for accelerating adoption fot the NVIDIAs robotics stack.
While there are many companies that are interested in such tools, they dont necessarily have the knowledge or the resources to do it themselves.
Our question is regarding the licensing terms especially after the new changes on May 2026.
We understand that the software itself is subject to NVIDIA’s license terms, and we are not looking to resell or redistribute Isaac Sim or Isaac Lab.
However, customers are asking us to provide professional integration and engineering services around the software, and naturally they would pay us for our time and expertise.
Is it permitted to charge customers for these professional services?
For example, if a customer asks us to install and configure Isaac Sim on their infrastructure and integrate it into their robotics development workflow, can we charge a consulting/integration fee for that work?
Similarly, would it be permitted to provide ongoing paid technical support and integration services for a customer’s Isaac Sim / Isaac Lab environment?
We want to make sure that we structure this correctly and do not violate NVIDIA’s licensing terms.
If there is a specific section of the license or NVIDIA policy that addresses paid professional services, we would greatly appreciate being pointed to it.
Thanks!
