We have a RoboDevOps platform that enables people to develop with different robotics tools. We want to be able to offer our users access to Issac Sim. Most of our users are presently academic partners who teach robotics and SMEs. Is it possible to provide pre-configured Isaac Sim instances to our customers in some form of OEM setting? Alternatively we could see a setup where we would proxy our user’s Nvidia developer keys to download and install Isaac Sim on their behalves. However, such a scheme would represenent significantly more work on our side, compared to providing instances using our own key.
Please explain what is the developer key mentioned?
@christine3 This should be doable, but would you please what exactly you mean by pre-configured Isaac Sim. Do you mean the scene automatically loads and runs something?
Hello, Thank you - to clarify our main question is about Licensing.
We have a robodevops platform. We integrate different robotics and AI development tools and enable people to work in integrated development environments that are powered by local laptops or cloud compute.
Different projects use different simulators and development tools. we want to offer Issac SIM to our customers.
Technically we can integrate, and provide access.
So our question is mainly about the license our customers need to have to use IssacSIM? Do we need to get them to enter their own development key, or not?
Most of our customers are universities providing robotics courses to students. However we also have some commercial customers. Maybe this is not a question for the developers forum? But hoping you can get an answer or pass us through to someone who can answer. Greatly appreciated
