We are currently working on integrating the OmniVision OX08B40 8MP camera sensor with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin platform .

We need guidance on the proper configuration to enable and optimize HDR mode for the OX08B40 on the Jetson AGX Orin platform. Specifically:

  1. What are the required register settings to activate HDR mode on OX08B40?

  2. Are there any specific driver configurations or parameters needed in the camera driver to enable HDR?

  3. How can we verify that HDR mode is correctly enabled and functioning?

  4. Are there any known issues or limitations when using HDR mode with OX08B40 on Jetson AGX Orin?

please refer to developer guide, Sensor Software Driver Programming.
there’re two HDR modes supported, PWL-WDR and DOL-WDR modes.

you’ll need apply ISP tuning files to enable wide dynamic range mode, unfortunately, we’re not support image tuning stuffs via forum discussion thread.
