ConnectX-4 in IB mode in ESXi

Hi.

Can I connect InfiniBand Adapter in ESXi 6.X in IB mode? Not ethernet.

So that, VM can work with this adapter.

I can’t find information.

Or, which virtualization better use for this task?

Do you want passthrough/sriov to the VM or have a IB mode card acting as a network device for a virtual switch?

The former definitely should work the latter I think as well. Have not been able to get it to go with RDMA but basic IB should be simple enough I think.

Using 4.16.13.5 on ESXi 6.5 with SR-IOV allows the guest to access IB fabric.
