I’m running Arch Linux with nvidia-suspend service enabled and following values set:
NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations=1 NVreg_TemporaryFilePath=/var/tmp
After resuming laptop from suspend, following notification pop up:
desktop effects were restarted due to a graphics reset
and some elements of desktop environment, such as window deocrations become glitched and stop animating.
