If I want to compile and run sample applications(using MMAPI)on host ubuntu pc not target machine directly, sample application is something like this

Hi,

Sorry for the late update.

It looks like you want to compile and execute the sample on host directly.
So you don’t need to use the cross compiler.

However, MMAPI doesn’t support desktop environment.
For a multimedia pipeline, it’s recommended to use Deepstream:
