CUDA 2.0 beta linux kernel 2.6.18-53.1.14.el5 System hangs

Greetings,

Install on Centos 5.1 kernel 2.6.18-53.1.14.el5
The driver 174.55 is recompiled for the specific kernel.
After few deviceQuery the system hangs and a hard reboot is the only way
to recover.
Install the version cuda 1.1 and everything is OK External Image
Has anyone seen this probem?

Have you verified that you’re using the latest motherboard BIOS?
Can you setup a serial console to capture any kernel messages at the time of the hang?

Please generate and attach an nvidia-bug-report.log.
