Cuda_driver_36.5.tbz2

Hi,

I noticed that some developers still suffer from cudaMalloc failed: out of memory with latest 35.x and 36.x following the CVE “fixes” from last october. I saw that 36.5 has some extra files that allegedly fix some memory leak. However, I am using 35.6.2 but looking at 35.6.4, there is nothing similar. Is it expected or those files are yet to be made available for 35.6.4? And if so, when can it be expected?

Thanks

Also this link is broken: https://developer.nvidia.com/downloads/embedded/L4T/r36_release_v5.0/cuda_driver_36.5.tbz2

Slightly bad for a product quality release…..

Hi,

Thanks for pointing this out.
The cuda_driver patches are for r36.4.4, and they are already merged in r36.5.
We will check with our internal team to correct the release page.

For r35, do you need the CVE and the patches for the CVE regression?
These patches can be found in the below comments:

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for the clarification.

Hi,

The link is still broken. Can someone have a look and fix the link?

Hi,

As mentioned above, the cuda_driver patches are merged into the r36.5.
So you don’t need the patches on r36.5.

Thanks.
