CUDA memory allocation failures on Windows XP x64

Hi.

I am having problem with CUDA where it will stop working if start a CUDA application more than a few times. This occurs with the new GPU PhysX and with the Folding@Home GPU2 client. After the problem begins to occur, I get an error message about either a context error or a failure to allocate memory. At this point, 3D acceleration also ceases to work. My video card is an 8600m GT (with 256mb VRAM), and I am running the latest available drivers (177.83). Additionally, I have tested this on Vista 64-bit system with the same hardware configuration and the problem does not occur.

Thanks.

Same problem still with the newly-released 177.89 driver.
