Is there a workaround to this tremendously annoying bug that leads to data loss? (the system freezes and obliges you to switch off the computer)

And where’s the appropriate place to report nvidia driver bugs?

I’ve found this:

SHH into your box. Reproduce bug. Run nvidia-bug-report.sh. Upload resulting file here.

See if it isn’t fixed in the latest driver first.

Also changing the title to something meaningful helps other people find your thread in the future.
