Cursor problems in some applications

Some applications running in a Citrix desktop environment have been seen to exhibit cursor anomalies. A typical example is where the cursor is shown overlaid on a black square.

Citrix have recently released a hotfix which addresses many of these anomalies. The hotfix is available here : Hotfix XD710ICAWSWX64004 - For VDA Core Services 7.1/7.5 for Windows Desktop OS (64-bit) - English.

NOTE: We have been told by Citrix that this 004 hotfix doesn’t work correctly if installed on a system that already has 003 installed (http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX140257) . The recommendation is to uninstall 003 before installing 004.

If you test this hotfix and still see cursor abnormalities please report here.

Thank you for the information about this patch.
