Hello,
I’m trying to flash my Jetson AGX Orin Developer Kit using the latest version of SDK Manager. I noticed that JetPack 6.0 (Rev 2) is now archived, which is fine — but I’m no longer seeing the option to include DeepStream during the setup. I don’t see this option for any other versions either.
Has DeepStream been removed from the installation options with the latest update, or is it now bundled differently? I couldn’t find any documentation or forum posts on this, it may just be something I looked over entirely, but any help would be appreciated.
Is there any installation guide for newbie to install full software stack on NVIDIA ORIN 8GB?
There is a lot of documentation misalignment and installation effort creates deepstream crash. Also, some help on debugging tools is appreciated.
This works fine upto VST microservice installation (even using jetpack-6.0). But, then to get deepstream working is a problem.
When switched to Jetpack-6.2. We run into NIDIA DRIVER issues. OLD Driver installation is picked and it does not work with latest of Platform services..
What if we try to use virtual environment? Baremetal has its own issues.
Is it possible to try and install using virtual environment on Orin 8GB (with Baremetal jetpack-6.0 install ) and try Jetpack-6.2?
If you don’t want to use baremetal , theoretically it is recommended to use “Docker”. But you are using a 8G device, the resources are insufficient for using Docker.
Apart from using Docker, we do not recommend other virtual environment.
We still recommend that you use the sdkmanager for installation.

All of our Guides are specifically designed for our native devices. If you are using devices provided by another vendor, we suggest that you directly contact the vendor. Perhaps they will have some customization we don’t know.
