I played with the paint ball demo scene. See:
I cannot find how to reset the simulation. The big stop button at the leftside toolbox is not resetting it.
I had this problem at the Marbles contest too…

Edmar, yes the solution was that I saved the scene while simulation was still playing - that makes sometimes sims to stuck at the end…
