Hello NVIDIA Support,

I need help with a DGX Spark. When trying to set up and flash the unit again, the system presents a BIOS password prompt (image attached), which blocks the flash process.

Device details:

Product: DGX Spark

Location: Munich, Germany

Issue: BIOS is locked/password protected, preventing us from flashing the system.

Request:

Please advise on the fastest way to unlock the BIOS or otherwise recover the system so it can be returned to service as soon as possible.

Well. Bad luck. You should contact your colleague @NVES. There is no public documented way on resetting a BIOS password or recover from a lost BIOS password.

How to reset spark without BIOS password?

Unfortunately, there isn’t a supported method to reset a lost BIOS password, as this security feature is functioning as designed to protect the system from unauthorized access. Please feel free to send me a DM, but options are limited. Please note that lost or forgotten passwords are not covered under NVIDIA’s exchange policy. If your system is an OEM model, we recommend contacting your device manufacturer directly, as they may have specific options available for your hardware.
