Hi,
I can’t open any pdf document in DOS Docs, such as in NVMedia: SIPL Guidance on Output Image Formats , when I click PDF icon I always got
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
<Error>
<Code>AccessDenied</Code>
<Message>Access Denied</Message>
<RequestId>EH4K5DDB5ZRFC76C</RequestId>
<HostId>j3gCw1g4ixIMBFMBtVLpjEk76dbZD0EMniHzg2lITTaSIVANaySaK7eq7SGf+SIdft1DoabGjLA=</HostId>
</Error>
This error looks like as in Doc: Failed to open AV PCT Configuration
There’re all about permissions of accessing XML in browser.
I also notice that there are some users face the same issue. But most of them got reply : it’s about user permissions. So there are other questions:
- If it did an issuse of user permissions, then why not just tip them permission denied in user trust level, but an access error? then user should know what’s wrong exactly, but got only an error page, that’s unfriendly UI.
- Why we can access DOS Docs in html but PDF? I did want to view in PDF since there are more and more skip links in HTML. In same cases there are even only one sentence in one page!
