I’d like to confirm about the function of Gigabit Ethernet PHY.
Does Gigabit Ethernet PHY of Jetson TX2 support Auto MDI-X function?

Yes, TX2 supports Automatic MDI Crossover.

Are there known limitations ? I cannot connect my TX2 devkit to my cisco switch (link does not come up) although I can connect it to my adsl internet router. If I replace my cat 6 cable by a cat 5e cable, I can connect my TX2 devkit to both my switch or my router.

sudo ethtool eth0 command can`t see mdi/mdix.

Also interested in querying/setting state of mdix for eth0. Is this possible on tx2?

root# ethtool -s eth0 mdix off
setting MDI not supported
