Early-Stage Concept: Grape SmartGlass – AI-Powered Wearable Vision

Hi NVIDIA team and community,

I’m an 18-year-old student from India currently exploring edge AI and wearable computing. I’m working on an early-stage concept called Grape SmartGlass — an AI-powered, privacy-first smart wearable that uses local object detection and speech feedback to assist users in real-world environments.

The goal is to keep all processing on-device using NVIDIA Jetson or similar embedded platforms. I would love to know if the community has suggestions for hardware prototyping or any advice on software integration using Jetson.

Would really appreciate any guidance or direction!

Hi,

You can check our tutorial for Jetson AI below:

There are several use cases that can give you some idea.
Thanks.

Thank you so much for the quick response and the Jetson AI Lab link.

I’ll go through the examples and try to align my prototype steps accordingly. If I get stuck while integrating face recognition or gesture modules on Jetson, I’d love to post follow-ups here.

Appreciate the support!
