Error in libnvcuvid.so.1

Hello, I downloaded SDKManager and managed to flash the DRIVE 10.0 on my devce (AGX Xavier A).

I changed the directory to /usr/local/driveworks/bin and trid to run a file sample_lane_detection with sudo . /

But when I try to compile a sample file, it says :
error while loading shared libraries: libnvcuvid.so.1> cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Hello, @Thommy_Dowling,

This looks to be related to an outage that we are having with our CDN. Unfortunately we don’t have an ETA for when this will be fixed. I will post back here when we have resolved the problem.

Thanks for your patience.

Dear @Thommy_Dowling,
Please confirm if you run the sample on host? If so, this issue is related to NVIDIA drivers, please check installing nvidia drivers and run the sample. Please see Nvidia Drive Software 10.0(Linux) : missing libcuda.so.1 and libnvcuvid.so.1 - #5 by SivaRamaKrishnaNV if it helps

I followed the instructions but apparently it needs an nvidia graphic card and my host computer doesn’t have it. Do I necessarily need a host with an Nvidia graphic card? I mean, I already have the NVIDIA drive xavier…

Dear @Thommy_Dowling,
If you want to use DW on host, you need NVIDIA graphics card with Pascal/Volta/Turing architecture.

So I can only run the DW samples on dev? I just do a secure copy in terminal of the files from host to dev and that’s it?

Dear @Thommy_Dowling,
Yes. Most of the samples need GPU backend for processing, Currenly, you can run only on target as you don’t have GPU.

Ok, thank you
