External PCIe Slot problem in Jetson Orin AGX

Hi!

Wondering if anybody had issues with the external PCIe slot. I am using a standard Intel Ethernet NIC card I-219LM.
Verified previously on a HP mini Tower AMD PC. When plugged into the PCIe slot in the Orin, the NIC does not power on and is not visible via “lspci”. No related messages in “dmesg” listing.
Another (different) PCIe card also verified successfully in same AMD PC. In the Orin slot it is powered and visible
via “lspci” but generates Phy errors, that are corrected then AER then crash.

Any thoughts? What am I doing wrong?

Is your “Orin AGX” a NV developer kit but not a custom board?
