Steps To Reproduce

As you can see from the above picture, I already have cuDNN version 7.6.5. I am trying to update it to 8.4.0. I followed the steps as shown in the link Installation Guide :: NVIDIA Deep Learning cuDNN Documentation. I didn’t start upgrading from the scratch. I started from 2.3.4.1. Ubuntu Network Installation and successfully ran sudo apt-get update. I dont know what steps were taken to install cuDNN version 7.6.5. But now when i try to Install the cuDNN library. The error pops up.
Request your support ASAP.

Thank you all.

Hi,
Please refer to the installation steps from the below link if in case you are missing on anything

Also, we suggest you to use TRT NGC containers to avoid any system dependency related issues.

Thanks!

Hey!
Thanks for the quick reply. I am new to the domain. I read but couldn’t catch up. I was trying to understand where exactly the previous cuDNN version 7.6.5 was installed. As you see in the picture, when i try to change the alternatives I can only see cudnn_v7. Can you tell me more specifically on which installations steps I should focus on.?
Thanks
