Yesterday (July 3 '22) everything on Fedora 35 worked fine including my Nvidia 3080 GPU. This morning (July 4 '22) I ran dnf update and suddenly booting produced the message NVIDIA kernel module missing. I tried starting Blender which uses the GPU heavily and it hung during start. New kernel is 5.18.9-100.fc35.x86_64. Rebooting with the old kernel, 5.18.7-100.fc35.x86_64, restored access to the GPU.
