Firefox had no audio out

Went to audio settings and toggled HDMI output. Then ran FireFox, audio worked fine.

Yes, same as Chromium. There is a setting under advanced to be enabled to get the sound output.

Thanx for the reply but all settings were the same as Chromium which I never had a problem with. I went to settings and click to set the same HDMI output (toggled) that I was already set on.

This was just after I installed FireFox, which has no settings to block audio out that I know of. Yes you can flag it to not run the HTML page sound (which it is by default) but that has nothing to do with audio from a embedded player.
