Hi all,
I have been trying to flash Jetpack 6 on a NX 16GB module with a J401 custom board.
Every time it gets stuck at “Waiting for target to boot-up…”
I have been using this command :
sudo ./tools/kernel_flash/l4t_initrd_flash.sh --external-device nvme0n1p1 -c tools/kernel_flash/flash_l4t_external.xml -p "-c bootloader/generic/cfg/flash_t234_qspi.xml" --showlogs --network usb0 p3509-a02-p3767-0000 internal
and tried many combinations of similar commands.
Did anyone have clues on how to make it work on this carrier boards ?
Thanks
Hi,
For any custom board, please check with the vendor if they have updated the BSP to match new BSP.

I will be also trying this later today.
According to this link reComputer J30 Series, J40 Series | J401 | Seeed Studio Wiki the board uses the BSP downloaded from NVidia.
At least one user suggests it’s doable:
Looking at the difference in packages installed, the only difference (except from the gui packages) between factory and default was the nvidia-l4t-factory-service package. And looking at its description; “The service for installing GPU driver.”, it’s safe to say that this is the reason for jetson_clocks thinking that there was a GPU. Both nvpmodel and jetson_clocks works now when not installing this package (but with the same patch as explained in the original post).
So you were right that the f…
Then please try to dump the uart console from device when flash failure happened.

I’ve only just started dabbling with Jetson so I don’t know to do that yet.
Here is the log from the flash command though, in case that helps.
