I just tested with the 550.54.14 drivers that were released yesterday and the performance issues are now, as far as I can tell, FIXED!

I ran a benchmark on almost maxed settings in 1440p with my 3080 and got almost 90 fps average. Note that this is WITH FSR3 frame generation though, which you unfortunately HAVE to activate to avoid epileptic seizure inducing flickering on Linux since the latest game patch. I also had to run the game with SteamDeck=0, otherwise it would not start.

The frame times are unfortunately quite wild when the fps drops, which I suspect is due to frame generation. Still, a massive improvement, for sure.

I can confirm, the game is pretty playable now and I’m getting ~200FPS.
