The question is relatively simple: Is there any way to use a more recent OS on the Xavier and Pegasus hardware? We would like to further use the hardware but the outdated OS and difficulties to install 3rd party software make this very hard.
Are there any (maybe unsupported community-) efforts to use it with other Ubuntu Versions? Is that even technically possible? Perhaps with compromises in terms of hardware features? The hardware is too valuable for us to simply throw it away, but the purchase of successor systems is also not possible for financial and organisational reasons.
To the community: Did somebody try something?
