Is it possible to upgrade the drive kit OS to Ubuntu 20.04 or will this become possible in a future version of the Drive OS?

Dear @lucas.vandijck,
No. The last release (DRIVE OS 5.2.0) supports ubuntu 18.04. The next release also supports ubuntu 18.04.

Is there the option to upgrade to 20.04 (and maybe lose some DriveOS features)? We would like to use ROS Noetic and that is built for the new LTS.

Dear @lucas.vandijck,
We have not verified the impact of upgrading OS. We recommend to use the same OS provided by release for DRIVE OS features. You may check upgrading and share your experience with community for your use case.

Okay, thank you for the info.

Hi lucas.vandijck,

May I know which platform you’re using?

Thanks

I don’t quite understand the question, do you mean the Xavier drive kit or our host machine? I entered the details in the original post.

Just want to confirm this issue is DRIVE platform related, thanks for the response.
